The Marshall County Board of Education met in special session on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. at the Board Conference Room at Jones School.

Members present were Jerry Campbell, Kristen Gold, Tim Harrison, Jack Keny, John McCullough, Randy Perryman and Ann Tears. Absent were Debbie Allen and Todd Tietgens.

Mr. Campbell made a motion that the Marshall County Board of Education authorize John D. Pierce to sign the agreement document as drafted by the County Attorney and surveys completed by Bingham Engineering which provide for the granting of a future 20 ft. easement to Mr. Howard Wall. This easement is contingent upon the county purchasing approximately 66 acres adjoining Chapel Hill Elementary School as specified in the agreement. Mr. McCullough seconded the motion and the motion passed 7-0.

Mr. Pierce distributed copies of the proposed revised dress code policy which will be presented at the September 14, 2006 Board meeting.
