(Spyware)(Malware)(Adware)‘Parasite’ is a shorthand term for “unsolicited commercial software” — that is, a program that gets installed on your computer which you never asked for, and which does something you probably don’t want it to, for someone else’s profit.

How do I remove a Spyware?
In most Windows you'll do the following, each version is a little different:
In Windows XP: Go to My Computer > Control Panel > System > Performance > File System > Troubleshooting; then click 'Disable Restore System'. Then restart computer from scratch (as directed).

In All Windows: Go to add/remove programs in your control panel and uninstall BRIDGE and P2P (If they are there).

Run Spybot Search & Destroy which can be found at Marshall County B.O.Ed. support website. Make sure it is updated or it won't catch everything. Fix all items it finds that are in red. Spybot S&D > Immunize > Recommended miscellaneous protections.

Another progam is Ad-aware SE. It is a very good program but you have to us it manually. To use Ad-aware in automatic scan you have to pay for it.

Online Scanners:

Online scanners are good to use when you system is too infected to install a program. Trend Micro PC HouseCalls and Ewido Anti-malware have online scans for spyware removal.
